Requirements

HERE ARE THE BASICS TO QUALIFY FOR INSURANCE TO COVER YOU
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Valid Medical Card no restrictions
  • 23 years of age or older
  • Read, write and speak English
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience Intermodal/Container
  • Hazmat Endorsement preferred but not required
  • Pass Background, MVR and Clearinghouse check, etc.
    • No DUI's, Felony convictions, SAPP in the last 5 years
    • Max 3 minor violations or combination of 1 major and 1 minor in the last 36 months
  • Experience with Electronic Logs - we use Samsara
  • Capable of using phone apps for communication and proof of delivery
  • Must have Bluetooth headset
  • Maintain 90% on time deliveries   
  • Available to work variety of shifts
  • Able to work in all weather conditions safely   
  • Secure loads by zip-ties / straps/ tarps / liners when needed.
  • Report defects to POD maintenance

  1. Loaded /unloaded miles
  2. Mount/dismount
  3. Load/unload
  4. Drop-n-hook onsite
  5. Drop-n-hook at yard

Regular job duties of a professional truck driver include but not limited to:
  • Maintain truck and trailer with DOT pre-trips and report defects to maintenance
  • Communicate with Dispatch - load pickups / detention / delays /etc.
  • Safely pick-up and drop off freight to yards, warehouses, or customers on time
  • Maintain a clean safety record
  • Follow city and state laws
  • Follow Company policies and procedures
  • Follow FMCSR guidelines
  • Maintain hiring qualifications during employment 
  • Dependable, team player, safe driver

Intermodal local lanes (within 150miles) average $1.62/mile loaded. Intermodal regional lanes (151-300miles) average $.68/mile loaded Intermodal OTR lanes (301+ miles) average $.59/mile loaded Unloaded miles $.50/mile
