• Valid Alaska Class A with Hazardous Materials endorsement. 
• Valid Medical Card 
• Must possess a good driving record 
• Must be reliable and flexible with schedule 
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Fairbanks Local Routes | Hazmat Endorsement | Home Daily | 1+ Year Experience | OT Available | Freight Pickup & Delivery | $2000 Sign on Bonus
Pay: Starting at $29/hr.
Location: This is a full-time, in-person role based in Fairbanks, AK, USA.
Schedule: 8am-5pm
About the Job:
The Local CDL-A Driver is responsible for loading, pickups, and deliveries of freight to customer locations while coordinating with dispatch to ensure timely, professional service. 
In This Role, You Will: 

• Operate vehicles in compliance with local and state traffic laws and company policies. 
• Read and interpret traffic signs and controls per FHWA regulations. 
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles; ensure necessary repairs are completed per regulations. 
• Track and maintain Hours of Service logs. 
• Ensure freight is properly stowed and secured to prevent damage. 
• Verify shipments against shipping documents to confirm accuracy and segregation. 
• Use appropriate equipment for safe loading and unloading. 
• Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
