Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class B license.
• Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Must meet all DOT physical/medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• Ability to lift/move freight as needed.

Desired:

• Experience with satellite communication devices.
• Computer literacy.
• Customer service or delivery driving background.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Indoor and outdoor work with exposure to varying weather, noise, dust, and temperature conditions.
• Frequent lifting, loading, bending, and securing of freight.
• Must be able to operate commercial vehicles safely under DOT standards.

Pay: Starting at $24/hr.
Location:
This role is based at 5025 Van Buren, Anchorage, AK.
Schedule:

• Full-time, nonexempt role.
• Minimum of 30 hours per week required to maintain full-time status.
• Average of 5 days per week / 240 working days per year, maximizing available driving hours per DOT regulations.
• Saturdays may be required based on customer needs.
• Exceptions: vacation, national holidays, inclement weather, or illness.

About the Job:
As a CDL B Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport freight locally. This role requires strict compliance with DOT regulations and company policies, while delivering outstanding service to our customers.
In This Role, You Will:

• Load, unload, and secure freight in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Transport products between designated origins and destinations while following all traffic and safety laws.
• Review and maintain permits, licenses, and load documentation.
• Conduct Pre-Trip, In-Transit, and Post-Trip inspections of equipment.
• Report delays, incidents, or product issues promptly to dispatch.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery records per DOT and company requirements.
• Communicate with dispatch via in-cab systems, phone, or radio.
• Adhere to company safety and PPE requirements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
