Description

We are hiring delivery drivers to make pickups and deliveries at local warehouses and lay down yards inside chemical plants in the Midland, MI area. Vehicles are 24' flatbed and box trucks, with lift gates. Loading is both at dock height and to ground using lift gates. Drivers will be expected to load and unload their freight, and assist in the warehouse. Drivers should have experience working and driving inside of refineries and chemical plants.  CDL not required.
Freight types are a variety of industrial equipment and supplies, including valves, pipes, conduit, drums (on pallet), pallets of boxes including nuts and bolts, gaskets, and individual boxes.
Your route will begin and end each day at our Midland warehouse location.  
This is a full-time job.
Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Drivers will report to the Transportation Supervisor at the Midland Warehouse, and work in a team environment with our warehouse staff.
Qualifications

• 3 years of experience preferred. 
• Must be familiar with and demonstrate ability to use cargo strapping and load securement techniques.
• No moving violations (commercial or personal vehicle) in prior 36 months 
• No preventable accidents in prior 36 months 
• Currently valid driver license
• Employment subject to pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and criminal background checks.  
• Must be able to stoop and bend regularly
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, unassisted 
• Push or pull objects on carts or pallets that weigh up to 550 pounds
• Experience working in and around refineries is a plus.

Job Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
