Description
CDL A OWNER OPERATOR LOCAL HOPPERDriver Pay Schedule
Schwend Hopper Trailer with Schwend Authority and your Truck you will be paid 75% of the line haul and 100% of the FSC.
$3,000.00 - $4,500 Gross + FSC to your truck weekly on average.
Employees are paid weekly.
Pay week starts Sunday at 12am and end Saturday 11:59 pm/Midnight.
As a Port Driver you will be required to have an 88,000 permit.
The permit costs $240.00 and is good for one year. https://pas.fdot.gov/
Supplies
All drivers are required to have a working CB radio, a working handsfree headset , steel toe boots, basic tool kit and garbage bags in their trucks, always. PPE – HARD HAT, SAFETY VEST, GLOVES, EAR PROTECTION, SAFETY GLASSES. Hopper drivers also need to carry with them a long handled shop broom and five gallon bucket at all times.

Insurance requirements
Auto Liability Insurance - $110.00 per week – required to have through us
Bobtail Insurance - $7.38 per week – required to have , can have your own or through us, if you have your own, I need proof of coverage.
Occupation Accident Insurance - $33.75 per week – required to have through us
If you wish to purchase a rider policy so that you can have a passenger , it is $106.00 a year , rider must be at least 10 years of age.
If you wish to have physical damage coverage on your truck and or trailer you can also purchase that through us, I would need to know the amount that you want to insure your truck and trailer insured for and your lien holders information (if you have a lien holder)
